  • Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist
    Martyna Sygula

    Martyna joined Centric Mental Health from Swan Family Support , Tallaght. Her experience is in working with individuals presenting a wide variety of issues related to anxiety, abandonment, abuse, family and relationship problems, depression and loss. 

    Martyna is also an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.  CBT is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders and more.  She has worked closely  with clients struggling with depression, low self-worth, sexual orientation-related issues, ACoA (Adult children of alcoholics) and adults with ADHD.

    Martyna believes that each person is unique and has different needs. Using a person-centred approach, Martyna aims to provide confidential, accepting, non-judgmental space for her clients, believing that every human is an expert in their own life.

    Martyna’s training and clinical experience allow her to integrate aspects of Humanistic, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural and Mindfulness-based therapies to adapt to the different needs of her clients.

    She is available for online and in person consultations at Centric Mental Health.

    Alison Chaney

    Alison began her with Northside Counselling in 2015 and has worked with various centres such as Fingal Counselling Services, The Healthy Living Centre and Pieta House, most recently she has been in private practice.

    Alison has extensive experience working with people with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, suicide ideation and low self-esteem. She believes that everybody has what they need within them to overcome their challenges and enjoys working alongside clients to help identify their strengths and support them through changes they wish to make or to endure situations where change is not within their control.
