Martyna has three and a half years of clinical experience gained thought clinical placement in Swan Family Support located in Tallaght. During this time, Martyna worked with individuals presenting a wide variety of issues related to anxiety, abandonment, abuse, family and relationship problems, depression and loss. Martyna was also part of the psychological online services, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This allowed her to gain experience with a short-term solution approach, working with problems including; different types of anxiety (general, health, social), obsessive-compulsive disorder, anger, and substance misuse. Over her last year in private practice, Martyna also engaged with clients struggling with depression, low self-worth, sexual orientation related issues, ACoA (Adult children of alcoholics) and adults with ADHD.
Martyna believes that each person is unique and has different needs. Using a person-centred approach as the foundation of her practice, Martyna aims to provide confidential, accepting, non-judgmental space for her clients, believing that every human is an expert in their own life. Martyna’s training and clinical experience allows her to integrate aspects of Humanistic, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural and Mindfulness based therapies to adapt to different needs of her clients.

Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons), in Counselling and Psychotherapy, from Middlesex University, London.
