What We Can Help Our Clients With

What To Expect At Your First Counselling Session

We understand that your counselling/therapy journey can feel daunting. When you’re struggling with something and looking for help, it can be difficult to know where to start. So we have made this easier for you by offering an Initial Consultation. At this first session we will:

  • Find out more about you
  • Understand the challenges you’re facing
  • Discuss with you how we might be able to help
  • Share clear recommendations on the type of treatment that’s just right for you

Our approach ensures that your treatment plan is in line with best practice recommendations and that we place you with the most suitable psychologist/psychotherapist. You’ll also have access to a wide range of experienced mental health professionals including Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Family Therapists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I book an appointment?

When you book an appointment, your first session will be an Initial Consultation appointment with one of our qualified clinicians. This may take place either digitally or face to face at a location convenient to you. From here, we can make specific recommendations for the best type of therapy for what you are experiencing, and can assign you a therapist that is most suitable to your needs.

How soon can I get an appointment?

You will be able to see one of our clinicians for your initial consultation within days of making contact with us. Fill out the contact form to the right of this page, or contact us via [email protected] or 01 611 1719 to make an appointment or to enquire about booking availability.

What training and accreditation does your team have?

Our team of clinicians are all registered with their relevant professional body, which include PSI, IACP, FTAI, and IAHIP, and have recognised post-graduate qualifications. Many of our clinicians are also trained to doctorate level and were part of the HSE or NHS doctorate training programmes. We are also a clinically-led team with specific governance providing experienced clinical support to address any complex issues, and attending regular clinical supervision to review cases is a core requirement for our clinicians.

Do I have to attend a clinic in person or can I do a session virtually?

While most people prefer in person sessions, we also offer online counselling.

How much does a counselling session cost?

Counselling sessions start from €95 per session, but your Initial Screening Assessment is €85. We also offer a CBT Programme at a more affordable pricepoint, which you can find out more about here.
