Lorna’s Experience

Lorna has trained and volunteered with VCS (Village Counselling Service) in Tallaght. She has also worked in Bath Avenue Counselling Centre in South Dublin for two years and is currently working in private practice, seeing clients online. She has also worked as a social care worker for several years prior to becoming a full-time psychotherapist, specifically within the disability sector. Lorna is an integrative psychotherapist who utilises a person-centred and humanistic approach when working with clients. Also incorporating CBT techniques, Lorna focuses on the collaborative relationship between client and therapist in her practice. Lorna has experience working with all ages and genders, including children and adolescents.

Lorna’s Qualifications & Education

Lorna Breen currently holds a BA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Level 9 Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from IICP. She is also a qualified social care worker with a BA in Social Care Practice and MA in Child and Youth Care.
