Kate’s Qualifications & Education
Kate Musiol is a qualified psychologist and a member of the PSI (Psychological Society of Ireland). She has a master’s degree from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland and she attends regular supervision as part of her ethical commitment to her work. For the last five years she has taken several additional courses, with training and professional development at the core of Kate’s practice.
Kate uses an integrative approach, which means she combines elements of CBT, psychodynamic therapy and schema therapy, depending on the needs of her clients and the difficulties they are struggling with. Kate works with people of all ages and backgrounds and aims to provide a confidential and comfortable space in which anyone can speak freely about their thoughts and problems. She perceives the alliance between client and therapist as a key factor in the therapeutic process and aims to facilitate a safe and confidential space for self-exploration and change.
Kate Musiol is working with adults and adolescents presenting with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, anger issues, low self-esteem, personal development, sexual difficulties, addiction, OCD, eating disorders and co-dependency. He was also worked on relationship issues including couples’ therapy, family difficulties and parental support.
