Dr Nolan’s Experience
Jenny has worked in a range of clinical settings including HSE primary care centres in West Dublin, oncology support services and the City of Dublin Education and Training Board. She has worked with adults experiencing a broad range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, abuse, neglect, bereavement, and living with and beyond a chronic illness.
Jenny recognises the importance of providing evidence-based, holistic, empathetic, individualised care at every life stage to facilitate individuals in making informed choices about their mental health and wellbeing. A large portion of her clinical experience to date has focused on creating supportive and collaborative therapeutic environments for her clients.
With the client-therapist relationship at the centre of her therapeutic process, Jenny works from a humanistic perspective incorporating both Existential and Psychodynamic principles while recognising and respecting the unique nature and circumstances of each individual.
Dr. Nolan’s Qualifications & Education
Jenny is a Counselling Psychologist and a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Jenny completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Psychology in IADT and subsequently continued her professional training in Trinity College Dublin where she attained a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
