Qualifications & Education

Freja is a counselling psychologist and a chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. She is originally from Denmark, and completed her undergraduate degree in University of Copenhagen, before moving to Ireland in 2007. She then undertook the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology in Trinity College Dublin, and worked in the Student Counselling Services there, providing individual, group and online therapy interventions to students.


Since finishing her professional qualifications, she has done specialised trainings in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She has utilised these in her private practice, as well as in her work within corporations. Freja has a special interest in anxiety, eating issues and addictions, and is passionate about helping individuals create a meaningful and fulfilling life.
