Dareth is a chartered Counselling Psychologist who graduated from the Trinity College doctorate training programme. As part of her training, she worked in HSE Primary Care, Adult Mental Health, CAMHS and St. Columcille’s Hospital. Dareth works with children, adolescents and adults who need support to heal and recover from depression, anxiety, trauma, family issues, grief and to manage life transitions. She also works with families, couples, members of LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
She has experience supporting clients who have body image issues and struggle with disordered eating, especially obesity. Dareth is passionate about helping clients learn, feel and experience self-acceptance and to develop a healthy relationship with themselves, with food and their bodies.
She invites clients to explore their patterns of behaviour, heal from past traumas and learn to manage their inner critic in a safe, accepting space. By using integrative therapeutic techniques with a focus on Compassion Focused Therapy, Dareth collaborates with her clients on their journey of self-discovery.
