With a background in social care and having worked in both private practice and with Pieta House, Colette has extensive experience of working with adult and adolescent clients from diverse backgrounds, presenting with a wide range of issues, some of which are listed above.
Trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist, Colette is client-centred in her approach, and believes that fundamental to successful therapy outcomes is the creation of a safe, non-judgmental space, and a collaborative relationship with her clients. Believing that the challenges and difficulties a client brings to therapy are as unique as the client themselves, Colette integrates the use of other models such as Psychodynamic, DBT, CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy, among others, to tailor her work to best meet the individual needs of her clients.
