Caroline works from an integrative approach using a combination of different therapeutic approaches including, Choice Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centred Therapy.
Throughout her career, Caroline has helped with a lot of issues that include: depression, anxiety, stress, life/work balance, gender identity, LGBTQ, trauma, sexual abuse, anger, grief & loss, relationship issues, psychosexual issues, self-esteem and work related issues.
Caroline has a deeply held belief that trust, respect, confidentiality, and good professional boundaries are essential in the therapeutic relationship, thus providing an environment for the client to explore all options and develop personal growth and resilience.
Qualifications & Education
With over 10 years clinical experience, Caroline trained as a Psychotherapist in Person Centered & Choice Theory/Reality Therapy with the Institute of Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy (IICP) and qualified in 2010. In 2012 she completed a Certificate in Couples Counselling followed by a Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy. She recently completed a Diploma in Counsellor Supervision & is now an Accredited Counsellor Supervisor with the IACP. Caroline has attended many workshops & seminars over the years on sexuality, trauma, anger, mindfulness & psychosexual issues.
