Look After Yourself, Too
This Mental Health Awareness Week we are running a series of blogs on how to support someone struggling with a difficulty. Each day, we’ll publish a new tip so check back in each day.
We are in the best position to help someone else – but only if we’re in a good place ourselves.
If we too are struggling, we may not be the best help for someone else who is struggling, but it can be helpful to share our experiences! So, look after your own mental health, and try not to carry the entire the burden on your own shoulders, but rather ensure that someone else is connected with the right services.
If you’re struggling with a mental health difficulty yourself, see our previous post in this series on getting back to the basics, getting the right help or contact us for information on making an appointment with our team of mental health professionals.
Whatever challenge, difficulty or transition you are going through, working with our team can be a big step towards becoming the healthiest version of yourself. Contact our team about making an appointment via email email@example.com or phone 01 611 1719 in Dublin, or 021 2067001 in Cork.
