Our new Barrow Street clinic is located in Barrow Medical, The Gasworks, Barrow Street, Dublin 4. Our clinic is situated down the side of Meagher’s pharmacy on Barrow Street, opposite Grand Canal Dock dart station. Walk down the right side of Meagher’s pharmacy and the Spectrum Mental Health clinic door will be visible on your left.
This clinic is an accessible city centre location with several comfortable clinic rooms, and we have a number of clinicians on site for early, lunchtime and late appointments. There is paid on street parking available and several public transport points nearby.
As Centric Health became the majority shareholder of Spectrum Mental Health in 2021, we now have multiple locations with Centric Health across the country, where the highest standard of mental health services are provided and best practice is always ensured.

Deirdre McGill is an IACP registered psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working in therapeutic settings. Deirdre focuses on a client-centred approach, and her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, the impact of abuse and violence, self-esteem, and work-life balance.
Philippa Carroll, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, APPI & ICP
Philippa Carroll is an APPI and ICP registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist with experience across a range of diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, probation services, addiction treatment services, and private clinics. Philippa primarily focuses on applying an individualised approach, and treats a range of issues including depression, anxiety, perinatal difficulties, and bereavement.
Dr Claire Carter is a PSI and BPS registered psychologist, and has worked in a range of settings including as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within NHS Primary Care, as well as within Drug and Alcohol services, Bariatric and Weight Management services, and Child and Adolescent services. Claire uses evidence-based approaches, grounded in humanistic principles, and treats a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and OCD.
Declan Gernon is an IACP accredited psychotherapist with nearly 10 years of experience working with clients to treat a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and bereavement. Declan is trained in both the humanistic and psychodynamic traditions, and so works with the individual to find the approach which works best for them.
Dr Mollie-Kate Richardson, Counselling Psychologist, PSI
Dr Mollie-Kate Richardson is a PSI registered psychologist with a number of years’ experience working in various mental health settings. Mollie-Kate has worked with a range of individuals from different backgrounds and cohorts, and aims to provide flexible and individualised care to each client by using an evidence-based approach grounded in person-centred principles.
Dr Sonia Pillai is a counselling psychologist and a current graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Sonia has worked in a range of mental health settings, including in the HSE CAMHS and adult mental health services, in the field of psycho-oncology, and in medical research settings. Sonia focuses on creating a supportive therapeutic alliance, and integrates elements of evidence-based therapies in her approach.
