Ariel has worked in a range of clinical settings including HSE primary care centres in Dublin and Wexford, as well as the National Rehabilitation Hospital. She has worked with adults experiencing a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, abuse, trauma, bereavement, and living with and beyond an acquired brain injury. Ariel has also worked extensively with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties and trauma.
Ariel uses evidence-based approaches in her work, including emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic therapy and principles of existential therapy. At the heart of her practice is a focus on person-centred, empathic and holistic care. Ariel’s main goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for her clients to explore themselves and their unique lived experiences. Issues of inclusivity, equality and cultural diversity also form part of the foundation of Ariel’s practice. Ariel works both long term and short term with clients.

Ariel’s Qualifications & Education
Ariel has a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. Ariel also has a Masters in Child Psychology from Nottingham Trent University and her B.A in Psychology and Philosophy. Ariel has a wealth of experience working with teenagers and adults, particularly around issues of trauma.
